This policy applies to learning2learnstrategies.com, the DECODE AI coaching platform, the Learning Gap Assessment diagnostic tool, and all associated services. By using our services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account registration: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Diagnostic tool: Responses you submit through the Learning Gap Assessment. These responses are used to generate your personalized diagnostic results.
- Coaching sessions: Content you enter during DECODE AI coaching sessions, including descriptions of learning challenges and goals.
- Purchases: Billing information (name, email, payment method) processed through our third-party payment providers. L2DECODE does not store full credit card numbers.
- Email communications: Information you provide when contacting us or subscribing to our mailing list.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, session duration, and interaction patterns within the platform.
- Device and browser information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
- IP address and approximate geographic location (country/region level).
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6).
2.3 Information from Third Parties
- Payment processors (PayPal, Stripe): Transaction confirmation, payment status, and fraud signals. We do not receive your full card number from these providers.
- Email marketing platform (MailerLite): Email engagement data such as open rates and link clicks, associated with your email address.
- Amazon KDP: If you purchase the Learning Strategies Guide through Amazon, we receive no personal information from that transaction. Amazon's Privacy Policy governs those purchases.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Deliver and personalize DECODE AI coaching sessions and diagnostic results.
- Process purchases and send transaction confirmations.
- Send service-related communications (account confirmations, access notifications).
- Send marketing communications if you have opted in. You may opt out at any time.
- Analyze platform usage to improve product features and user experience.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
4. How We Share Your Information
L2DECODE does not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers: We share data with third-party providers who help operate our platform, including payment processors (PayPal, Stripe), email marketing platform (MailerLite), transactional email provider (Resend/SMTP), and database/hosting infrastructure (Supabase, IONOS). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of L2DECODE, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers: If L2DECODE is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. Specifically:
- Account data is retained for the duration of your active account. Upon account deletion, account data is removed within 30 days.
- Diagnostic and coaching session data is retained to enable ongoing use of the platform. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
- Purchase records are retained for 7 years in accordance with standard accounting and tax record requirements.
- Email marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or request removal.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
L2DECODE uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage and performance (analytics cookies).
You can control cookie settings through your browser. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality, including your ability to remain logged in. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies or serve targeted advertising on our platform.
7. Data Security
L2DECODE implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) across all platform touchpoints.
- Secure, access-controlled database infrastructure (Supabase).
- Password hashing using industry-standard algorithms.
- Access limited to authorized personnel only.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights with respect to your personal information:

- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell.
- The right to delete your personal information.
- The right to opt out of the sale of your personal information. (L2DECODE does not sell personal information.)

11. Users Outside the United States
L2DECODE is operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the legal basis of contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent (for marketing communications).
